63. Clean, fix, and touch up house during the first week of May every year

The cleaning isn't finished, but the month is up, so I'm reporting my progress and calling this thing done.

All the things I did for my house:

Dusted living room
Dusted kitchen
Cleaned ice/water dispensor in fridge
Swept deck twice
Fixed broken Dumbledore figurine
Brought old DVD case over from parents' house and made a spot for it
Reorganized DVDs (separated out most TV series)
Snaked eztension cord around living room and under couch so I won't trip on it
Vacuumed rugs in front of back door multiple times
Repotted Aloe plant and moved it outdoors
Scrubbed grout in bathtub with toothbrush & bleach
Scrubbed out microwave with vinegar
Cleaned toothbrush holder
Put up new hook above shower
Scrubbed toilet in craft room bathroom
Scrubbed toilet in upstairs bathroom
Set up new backup drive and backed up laptop, put in fire safe
Checked batteries in both smoke detectors
Changed air filter
Organized pantry and cleaned it out
Mopped floor of craft room bathroom
Mopped floor of kitchen
Mopped floor of upstairs bathroom
Cleaned out fridge: removed expired food and scrubbed every shelf and drawer
Dusted and vacuumed laundry room by wash tub
Wiped down tub in laundry room with lysol wipes (should do another one with bleach some time)
Cleaned a few smudges off stairway & hallway walls with Magic Eraser
Started organizing boxes in under-the-stair storage
Dusted all light fixtures and fans
Dusted craft room bathroom thoroughly including baseboards
Framed picture for downstairs bathroom
Got new pillow for bed; threw out old one
Got "new" laundry basket
Put stuffed animals for library in old laundry basket under coffee table
Replaced broken mat under desk chair with new one
Vacuumed craft room and scrubbed a few spots on the floor
Went through several boxes from under the stairs storage
Bought little containers for beanie babies to sit on top of bookcases
Deleted a few thousand emails from Inbox
Set up new smart phone
Nailed and glued kitchen drawer face on
Hung stamp pictures in downstairs stairway
Started organizing computer equipment shelves
Organized camera data cards in new holder
Got tauntaun sleeping bag out and set up on the couch in my library
Sorted through and organized Writers' Roundtable bag
Washed car
Got rid of old backpack
Organized winter weather box and fit everything into one box instead of two
Vacuumed stairs
Organized cardboard boxes for mailing; recycled ones I probably won't use

The pot I thought I'd replant it in seemed too small, so I upgraded.

Repotted aloe plant should be happy outdoors again!

Couch is becomming a place where I throw things... not a place where I can sit and relax

Love is so clean she's literally sparkling in the sun

Organized pantry including rounding up loose teabags

Fixed kitchen drawer... hopefully for the final time.

Framed stamps in the stairway. The way I had to space them out, there's room for one more. I'll buy a frame for it and hope the post office puts out a new, fandomy something soon :-)
