67. Catch up on The 4400

I finished season 3! Watched one episode Fri, one Sat, and just now (Sun) I watched the first episode of season 4 that I had recorded on my DVR and saved. Once I get through all the episodes I've recorded, that will free up lots of space on the recorder :-)

Terrible Swift Sword- Wow. Budding romance, conspiracies, stolen vials- I'm not sure which way is up any more! heehee Richard is definitely getting my vote as favorite character.

Fifty-Fifty- Ahhhhh! Did you see that?! OMG! The last line made me scream out loud. I'm not happy with the ending- it was great, it's just that- ack! What's happening to some of these characters? It was a great end of the season, though. Especially Isabelle's storyline.

The Wrath of Graham- More spooky. I miss agent!Diana and I'm not digging the new director so much just cuz she's new. I'm sure I'll grow to love her :-) It's great to finally find out Jordan's power. And Shawn! Squee! I love that Kyle's back. And the complication of so many ordinary people taking the shots is very interesting now. Poor NTAC is going to be overwhelmed VERY quickly methinks. This was an excellent start to a season.

41. Register all books waiting to be registered for BookCrossing

I registered about 30 books tonight. I still have about 30-something to go. But getting through half the pile isn't too bad. I'm really hoping to get through them before my 5th year anniversary with BookCrossing.

Unfortunately, I'm going to try to go to a thrift shop tomorrow that's having a book sale so I'll probably come home with a bunch more that will need registering. I guess we'll see! But the point is, I made good progress today AND passed my 1000 books registered goal. Whoohoo!

EDIT: I did indeed go to the thrift shop today (had some trouble finding it- it wasn't where I thought it was and as I was giving up, I stumbled across it). I bought 86 books *facepalm* Most of them are for BookCrossing. So add about 80 to that list.

42. Make/refine my BookCrossing car kit

While I was going through my Real Simple magazines the other week, I found an article which discussed how to make your car-office more efficient. The article suggested buying a desk organizer for the passenger seat to put coffee, pens, papers/folders, etc. in. I thought that was a brilliant idea to use on my BookCrossing car kit. I have been using an old carboard box with a cookie tin inside and a paper bag before that... though those weren't very effective and I kept throwing stuff onto the passenger seat hither and thither anyway.

Yesterday at IKEA I found the perfect organizer for my needs for $3. It's got 5 sections- most of them pretty large, but the whole thing doesn't take up all the room on the seat so there's still room for my purse and lunch in the mornings.

Now there will be no more searching around for my post-its or pens, no more Post Office receipts or Delivery Confirmation slips all over the place! The best part is that everything is right there in one place and I'll be able to tell exactly when I run out of wet-release bags or post-its. I even included a little spiral notebook so I can make notes about where I wild released books and what their BCIDs were.

The result, which I'm very happy about:
