7. Learn how to tie a tie



Today I went to Harry Potter meet-up and decided to wear my pseudo-HP tie with my white blouse. So I went online and got completely confused reading the first "how to tie a tie" website I found. The second one, however, was much clearer and in no time, I had it down. It doesn't look gorgeous but it's a proper Windsor knot and I can do it from memory. So... mission accomplished!

54. Watch every nominated movie from the Academy Awards (excluding foreign film) from 2007-2009

Just watched Juno. Boy, if this is light compared to the other Best Picture films, I'm in for one very depressing year! LOL I liked it a lot and really liked the main character and the slice of life/culture. It was very foreign but also very familiar in a lot of ways. I'm certainly not as incredibly in love with the movie as some of my co-workers are, but I liked it fine and am very glad I watched it tonight :-)

21. Donate 100 books to charity/the library



This past Wednesday I donated 21 books to the library. All are from work and my boss had them in the "To Recycle" pile, but I offered to take them to the library instead. Still got a few left in my car to do the same with.
