66. Finish watching Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis
69. Watch all my unwatched DVDs

I just finished!

I finished Stargate Atlantis yesterday (completely satisfying ending; I loved it and must now purchase the whole series). I must admit, I very nearly gave up on the whole thing when they killed off a character I wasn't expecting to see die and it broke my heart into tiny pieces of angry. But, after all the bitching and screaming at the show and LOTS of sobbing, I obviously went back to it the next day to get through it (and good thing I did, too, because I was mostly happy with the show after that; still kind of weak compared to SG-1, but that's a tough act to follow).

And today I watched Ark of Truth & Continuum. Nice extra bits of the series. I teared up a little when it was over (and I definitely cried during the SG-1 finale). Though I wish those other two movies had been made, I can be happy with where everything went and ended up.

Also, I've got some tie-in novels to devour *G* and lots of fanfic to read *EG*

Totally a worthwhile pursuit. Not only did I finally find out how all of this ended, but I also watched 4 DVDs (Stargate SG-1 boxed set, Stargate Atlantis Season 2, Ark of Truth, and Continuum) that I owned but had never fully watched. So I got a little bit of Thing 69 done at the same time. Win!

47. Get a book journaled for all states I don't already have books in

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] melydia & her sister, I've got a Vermont one: The Lazlo Letters

Now that just leaves: Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Wyoming. That's totally do-able in 14 months, right? Maybe Holiday Gift-Giving and a trip to the Book Thing some time for wish list books will help.

19. September 2011 Project: Join Swap-Bot

http://swap-bot.com

I've been meaning to do this for some time now (since April, actually). And now that several of my friends are on there, I felt it was time to follow right along, like the good 'puff I am.

In September I joined and signed up for 7 swaps. I've received 2 of them (sent 3) and I'm looking forward to the other ones (which will be closing soon). I signed up for a variety of swaps: a package, several postcards, one electronic. I donated to lukemia research to sponsor the swap-bot creators and received some nifty swap-bot swag (I'm proudly displaying the magnet on my bookcase at work). I joined a few groups (I've been officially accepted into one Harry Potter one already). And I finally bought paid time on Flickr and uploaded photos of my swap-bot swaps there: http://www.flickr.com/photos/katekintail/sets/72157627776289348/

The site is VERY addictive but super fun. It makes me want to get all crafty, which is a good thing. I have limited crafting skills, but I consider that mostly to be 1-a lack of good supplies and 2-the fact that I'm really out of practice
