23. January 2012 Project

Ever since a friend mentioned that there were programs out there that would turn your handwriting into a font, I've wanted one. I don't have particularly wonderful handwriting, but I'm kind of attached to it. On Monday, in honor of National Handwriting Day, YourFonts.com offered it for free. I found out hours before the offer expired but still managed to fill out all the forms, scan them in, and set the font up. And now I have my very own special font! I actually love it and have used it in a letter already :-)

Thing 94

For my Thing 94, I sent some items to help crrcookie with her Thing 94. So perfect, I couldn't resist!

Thing 95

There were a lot of items that jumped out at me that I could help with, but I decided to go with her Thing 73.

I bought a sketchpad and some drawing pencils and gave them to her today at the BCinDC meetup. I hope they inspire greatness! :-)

In just one day, George Mason acquired a scarf! Again, released when I was on campus for Fall for the Book events.

Awful photo, because he was under a huge tent for the Fall for the Book festival. But it's a Stephen King book and melydia and I were on our way to see Stephen King speak!
