59. Visit Harper's Ferry, WV

Some of my friends and I rented a lovely house for the weekend in Harper's Ferry in May, 2012. I got to town a little early to snarf (I printed out a list of 140 local snarfs and worked my way through them all weekend, while finding lots of bonus ones). And I spent the weekend hanging out with friends, playing games, writing, relaxing on the porch overlooking church ruins and the rivers, on a ghost tour, and walking/shopping around town. It was a glorious weekend. So relaxing and fun as well. I had a wonderful time in Harper's Ferry and look forward to going again some day... I just don't want to wait another 14 years or so between visits!

Thing 85

85. Send a postcard to PostSecret

I just wrote out, addressed, and stamped a postcard to go out in the mail to PostSecret. I don't have a lot of secrets that I haven't told people, but it feels good to get this one out into the world.

Thing 98

98. Donate 100,000 grains of rice at FreeRice

The website counted properly this time! Maybe the bugs are worked out for good? Also, I discovered the French language subject and had lots of fun remembering vocabulary words I thought I'd forgotten!

I did 4,500 today.

EDIT: I just picked up my 101 Things journal and found 7,000 grains recorded there on 11/07/10 that never made it to this journal!
So I'm actually at 37,000. Woot!

46. BookCross all audio books on cassette that I'm not planning on listening to

Back in March, I mailed out four boxes full of audio books on tape (a variety of abridged & unabridged in each box).
Audio bookbox (going to multiple bookcrossers): 19 books
iwillrejoice: 19 books
keno-mom: 19 books
hyphen8: 17 books



I also got rid of all the convention leftovers at the Gaithersburg Book Festival this past Saturday (about 25 books).

I'll have to do a final look through my audios and see if that's all of the ones I'm willing to part with, but I think I'm done with this thing.
