66. Participate in the 29 Gifts Movement
After a long time thinking about when to do this, I decided I didn't know how to do it. Unfortunately, the site seems to have gone away! But then I discovered it wasn't gone, just relocated to:
https://follr.com/Communities/29Gifts And I found out that Cami Walker's book was in my local library. So I started reading with the intention of starting the challenge after finishing. Then I realized the challenge is similar to NaNoWriMo--that I need to just
start and stop thinking about it. So I found an opportunity to give and... just started! The people at the 29 Gifts community were wonderfully supportive and helped motivate me to get started.
My life didn't change. In fact, some bad things happened to me during the 29 days. But plenty of good happened as well. I'm normally a pretty generous person, so it wasn't really a big change for me. The difference was giving every day without fail and giving with generosity and purpose, being aware of the gift and giving from the heart. It was nice to pause and acknowledge each gift as I gave it.
