26. Watch all of Gilmore Girls
I watched a bit of Gilmore Girls when it was first on because of Scott Cohen. In fact, I still have a few episodes taped off the TV somewhere on VHS (see my icon). As I was at college, I didn't actually get a chance to properly see the series and I'm sure I didn't watch more than a handful of episodes originally. I made it one of my things because I'd always meant to watch it properly... oh, and BECAUSE JARED PADELECKI.

Every time I thought Jared was off the show for good, he'd get pulled right back in. And I couldn't get used to his hair being so short! Ha! Also, suddenly, Milo! Wow! Actually, there were a lot of people I had no idea were in this show when I started watching, including Melissa McCarthy, Michael DeLuise, and Adam Brody. Watching this show was slow-going at first. I had to mail DVDs back and forth via Netflix for months. I made it up to Season 5 last month and at the beginning of this month it was finally available on streaming. So I just zoomed through the rest of season 5, season 6, and season 7 like that.
By the time Max exited the show, I was hooked. By the time Dean exited the show, I was completely invested. I loved the characters and the quirky, fast-paced dialogue that doesn't insult our intelligence. What a fun, smart show. Even though there were times I was shaking my fist at it, I still loved it. 12 minutes from the end, I burst into tears completely unexpectedly. And then I cried again at the very end. Awww. Even though the last couple seasons felt very "baby marriage baby marriage baby marriage" to me, I still really liked it. I'm definitely glad I made this one of my things, as I might never have watched the show otherwise and what a loss that would have been!
