33. Eat at a Rainforest Cafe

I've always wanted to eat at one of these restaraunts. There was one in the nearby mall when I was growing up, but my family never ate out. My best friend at the time got to eat at one multiple times and told me how much fun it was. I loved walking by and seeing the animals and running water inside. Turns out that there are only 24 locations left in the United States, but I was lucky to find out that I was going to be in the same town as one of them. So I made it a point to go.

I had a natural (veggie) rainforest burger and vegetables. It was yummy, though not the best meal ever. Eating it in the middle of a jungle, on the other hand, was a whole lot of fun. I loved the fish especially and also when the thunder and lightning storm happened. I was seated by a gorilla who was constantly proving himself to the others across the room. It was silly and the animatronics were old, but I loved the experience. It was exactly what I'd thought it would be--lots of fun!

Thing 94

94. Leave a 100% tip

I was hoping to have a good server at the Rainforest Cafe, but my "Jungle Guide" was awesome. He gave me lots of info about San Antonio in March, brought my check early because he remembered my saying I was flying out in a few hours, and gave me a cup so I could take the rest of my iced tea back with me (it was hot outside, so I was glad for the yummy drink during my walk back to the hotel).

So I paid with a credit card and then left cash for a little more than my meal. It was SUCH a great feeling. I wrote a little note on the receipt so that they knew it was intentional. I hope it made him smile.

63. Wild release 100 books (not at Kensington or Gaithersburg)

I theme released two more books on my trip to San Antonio. MAN I love themed releases. I wonder if I can manage it for all 100 of these? Sub-challenge!

3. Read 5 books off BookCrossing TBR shelves

The Popsugar Reading Challenge asked for a book with a fruit or vegetable in the title. I have had Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn on Mt. TBR for ages now! So it was great to have an excuse to read it. I finished it on the flight home from San Antonio this weekend.

The only romances I read are hockey ones. I have had Power Play on Mt. TBR for such a long time, and I needed something fun and light to tide me over during the off season. I finished it on my way to San Antonio this weekend.
