16. Hockey movie marathon
I spent last weekend binging hockey movies. I watched a few new-to-me movies as well as rewatched some favorites. I managed 10 different movies, alternating between light and serious. I also watched the first Washington Capitals preseason game.
I learned a lot of new things, including all about the WHA and also about Theoren Fleury, who made an appearance in one of the movies. I'd just finished earreading Al Michaels' autobiography, so it was fantastic hearing his voice calling the Miracle on Ice game in the movie as well.
