List 1- Thing 68
Jun. 17th, 2007 04:18 pm68. Catch up on The Dead Zone
I watched disc one of season 4 today. Turns out I'd seen the first three episodes of the season only (not half of the season, as I thought). So I have a longer way to go to get caught up, but I'm making a slow start. Show: http://www.tv.com/the-dead-zone/show/7420/summary.html
I'm taping the first episode of the new season tonight so that when I get through with seasons 4 and 5, I'll have season 6 at hand. In theory :-)

I liked the first four episodes:
- Broken Circle- The "conclusion" of the Stillson storyline was nice; even though it didn't follow the book, it came close and was satisfying. I hope it's revisited in the future... because the future aplocolypse is unresolved and because I want more Sean Patrick Flannery! Plus, I miss Johnny's pimpcane already.
- The Collector- Annoyed me a bit the first time I saw it, years ago, and annoyed me now as well. I can certainly understand it... and it couldn't have ended any differently. One that stuck in my head but not one of my favorites.
- Double Vision- I loved this one. It was great to see another real psychic working with Johnny and Jennifer Finnigan did a great job. I'd forgotten about this episode, and I'm glad I watched it again
- Still Life- Felt a little rushed and a little done before... and extremely predictable. But I still liked it a lot. The artistic angles and need for muses, emotions and obsessions, family and tallent... really nice backdrop for it. Also it was great to see Patrick Bauchau again- I miss Carnivale!
