I went to Mount Vernon today! I've been twice before, once on a school field trip and then on the 4th of July with my mom and sister when I was young. But I had never seen the new theater and museum, so that was great. I wish I had stuck around for the whole movie--I'm told there are special effects! Oops! But I met up with friends and all of us snarfed what we could find and had a great time learning about the different parts of George Washington's plantation.
