21. Donate 100 books to charity/the library

I donated 5 books today. Didn't get a receipt because I don't itemize. Of course, knowing me, this year I will and I'll kick myself for not keeping receipts for all my donations. Anyway, here are the 5:

#1 The Wishsong of Shannara

#2 Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

#4 Anne of Avonlea

5. Re-write weekly schedule and try better to follow it

I re-wrote my schedule. The hard part is following it. Yesterday I was utterly exhausted after coming home from work (I actually fell asleep hours earlier than usual) so I didn't do ANYTHING yesterday. But otherwise I'm really, really going to try to follow the schedule. AND I hope to keep it updated as things in my life change and it needs changing as well.

26. Put a recycling bin in the laundry room and empty it myself regularly

I've been meaning to do this for over a year now. Thanks to this list, I finally got off my arse and did it. LOL

I bought a bin today at Wal-mart. Took me forever to decide on size/shape. I'm not sure why I went with this one... but it spoke to me. It seems large enough for my purposes, able to fit newspaper and paper as well as tall listerine bottles and such. I printed out a nice recycling label from Microsoft clip art.

That picture is the corner of the laundry room, which is adjacent to my bedroom. I have a microwave (not pictured), storage for my drinks, my mini-fridge from college, and a mini-pantry(the green container). And now... a recycling bin!

Now all I need to do is remember to empty it regularly instead of letting the recycling pile up and sit around my bedroom/bathroom. Which sounds worse than it is, I assure you. But now it won't be a problem at all.
