4. Read 5 books off general TBR shelves
I recently finished a few books off my general TBR shelves! 3 more down... about 2,000 left to go! LOL I've got one more I started this week, so I'm hoping to have this thing completed pretty soon. I read:
Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz- I was SO sure I knew the twist. I felt so smart for figuring it out. And then... I was 100% wrong. *facepalm* An enjoyable read nonetheless. I can't say it wasn't engaging!
Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi- John Green recommended this book on a vlog years ago, and I found a copy pretty recently, so I finally got around to reading it. While parts definitely made me panic (I'm not good with underwater possible drowning scenes in books/movies) I really loved the culture and worldbuilding. And crew=found family, which is one of my favorite tropes.
An Absolutly Remarkable Thing by Hank Green- I feel bad for taking so long to finally get around to reading this, but I'm very glad I did. I don't read a lot of straight sci-fi set in our world and in present day, but I really liked the mix of commentary about human behavior (and social media celebrity) vs. mysterious puzzles (and I always love a good Queen reference).

Progress: 4 / 5
