List 1- Thing 54

Holy Crap!! I just watched The Last King of Scotland. I'm not sure what I was expecting... but it wasn't this. How is it possible to take a person like this and make me like him (at least for a long portion of the movie)? Well, his passion for the Scottish culture (which I share) not only cracked me up but quickly brought me over to his side for longer than I should have been. Still... whoa. I loved how they treated the subject; the perspective was chilling and honest. Forest Whitaker was incredible, but James McAvoy was ASTOUNDING. Such emotion from them both... I could feel the paranoi and the confinement so strongly. I wasn't expecting to like this movie as much as I did. Although 'like' is sort of a strange word to use for this movie considering the subject matter. Point is, I found it interesting, very well done, and powerful.
I dunno if I can bring myself to watch any of the extras. Just too creepy to watch after that. *shivers*
