List 1- Thing 20
Jul. 10th, 2007 09:59 pm20. Send 30 care packages to soldiers through AnySoldier.com
Yesterday I got my first ever e-mail from a soldier I sent a care package to! I was so excited that I had to share. It makes me SO happy to know that they enjoyed what I sent out. And it's incredible that he took the time to send an e-mail. Totally unexpected and unnecessary but thrilled and touched me:

Thank you very much for the care package. I know my soldiers had a good time playing with the water guns. It is starting to get really hot out here. I did receive the package in time for the fourth of July. I received it on July 3rd. How is everything going in Virginia? I am stationed at Fort Story in Virginia Beach. I miss it a lot. I can't wait to come home. We should be home in about a month and a half. How is the weather? It isn't too humid is it? Well I need to get back to work. I just wanted to say thank you for the care package. It has been put to good use.
