List 1- Thing 94
Jun. 1st, 2008 10:26 pm94. Get a new computer with a flat screen monitor
Accomplished! I ordered it last weekend and unpacked it last night. I'm setting it up right now, though that'll probably take a good week to finish at this rate. It's wicked fast and high tech and should last me a good long while if I'm careful with it (as I plan to be). It's fun to be able to open up a program and have it acctually open that moment, instead of opening, waiting around a minute, and then seeing it.

It's an XPS 420 with a 24inch flat panel display and a nice printer/fax/scanner/copier/photo printer. it made a $2,500 dent in the bank account (not to mention another $300 for software) but so far I'm enjoying the way it actually works. That's a good quality in a monitor. Nice change. And I watched a movie on it earlier (did I mention it does Blu-Ray?) and the display was awesome.
