just_the_things53. Do 2 (minimum) Do Nothing But Read Days
I did my second Do Nothing But Read Day on January 29, 2012. I hardly ever have a free day where I can literally do nothing but read. And I must admit it was painful to not check e-mail often or do much of anything... apart from sitting around and reading. But I did get a lot read!
In just one day...
I read from start to finish:
In the Blood by Scott Miller
Serenity: The Shepherd's Tale by Zack Whedon, Joss Whedon, Chris Samnee and Dave Stewart
Fraggle Rock by Adrianne Ambrose, Nichol Ashworth, Bryce Coleman and Jeffrey Brown
The Marvelous Land of Oz by Eric Shanower, L. Frank Baum and Skottie Young
I finished reading:
Beyond the Chocolate War by Robert Cormier
I really wish I'd planned better and had more snacks to get me through the day. But I'm pretty happy about reading pretty much 5 books in just one day. Imagine if I could do this every day-- 1,825 books a year? That would be astounding... and impossible. LOL At any rate, I feel accomplished and I had a fun time with the books.
