24. Watch all of Battlestar Galactica

My first thing finished off list #3!



I found it super difficult to stop watching this show. I devoured the whole thing in a little less than a month. I watched a whole season last weekend alone LOL I finished it up tonight. I really liked watching it all at once--with serial shows like this, I feel like that's the best way to do it. It felt like one long story instead of individual episodes. I really enjoyed the story, overall. Yes, I'm mad at some of the characters. And, yes, I wish certain things had or hadn't happened. I yelled at the screen more than once and was crushed when some characters I liked bit the dust. But overall it had a great feel to it, wonderful characters, clever twists/complications, and enough progression each episode to keep a great pace. I highly enjoyable. I'm thrilled that after years of being told I should watch this I can finally say I have! And I might just have to watch the Caprica prequel series now as well :-)

I debated having this on my list 'to watch', but with Dr. Who and Firefly, I thought having a third entire series was a bit much. But I've also heard good things about this series. Maybe once I'm done with the other two...

It was really good. But Doctor Who is a LONG series (even if you're just doing Doctors Nine, Ten, and Eleven). Firefly is only one series and a follow-up movie, so that won't take long. And I just bought a second copy of Firefly on DVD, so you're welcome to borrow my boxed set of Firefly any time! I ADORE both of those series so much... definitely two that needed to go on your list before Battlestar. It's worth watching; I loved it. But I love Doctor Who and Firefly more *G*

Did you see the YouTube clip I posted a couple posts ago about Battlestar Galactica? People definitely TUB it. LOL
