5. Read 25 books off the FCPS shelves at the library
There are always such fascinating books on these shelves--a wide range from The Golden Compass to Pride and Prejudice, from The Hunger Games to American Born Chinese. I contacted the library, asking if there was a comprehensive list of these books (I was hoping for one I could go through and use as a checklist). However, they don't maintain a full list and told me to ask my branch. Eh, not that important to me. Whenever I'm in need of another book, I'll just wander over to the shelves at the library and select one!
Which is what I did this time. I just read Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick. It's a book I heard him discuss at the National Book Festival a couple years back and wanted to read immediately. I even put it on my list of books I wanted to read this year. And now I've read it--score! Here's what I thought: http://katekintailbc.livejournal.com/124803.html
