39. Get weight down to 135lbs

Here's an update on my progress. The AWP Conference and trip to Boston was difficult to get through, but I managed to mostly stick to my diet while there. I ate a lot of salads and fruit. I did resort to a Luna bar most days (one day was so busy I only managed to eat 2 small bites of it). But my weight has been pretty steady around 150. It dipped down to 149 and stayed around there for a few days. Today it's back up to 151.2 but that's still good. The weight loss definitely is going slowly now, not the huge amounts from the beginning, but it's still decreasing and certainly in control.

This past week two different people who don't know about this goal of mine asked me if I were losing weight (one person in my writers' roundtable group, the other works at the post office where my PO Box lives). It was absolutely wonderful to have people who didn't know about my efforts notice the change in me. I was so thrilled!



30 pounds lost and about 15 pounds to go! I'm two-thirds of the way there!
