63. Rewatch all of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

I finished watching this series. It was such a great time, and I'm glad to have finally watched it all considering I've owned it for so many years. This was such an important television show to me when I was growing up. I Loved rewatching episodes from my formative years that I must have seen at least a dozen times and episodes that I'd never seen before as well (there were quite a few of those, as it turns out). It was also really neat watching the series in chronological order by historical event and also seeing a lot of the DVD special features on the historical figures and events referenced in each episode; I would have been crazy for those if they'd existed back then, as I'd had to do a lot of the research myself in pre-Internet times.
I loved seeing so many of my favorite characters again, from Ned to Molly to Hemmingway to Miss Seymour to Sid-Man. I also loved seeing so many names that are familiar to me now that went right over my head back in the day, like Damon Whitaker, Alec Mapa, Carrie Fisher, Daniel Craig, Jane Wyatt, Anthony Daniels, Elizabeth Hurley, Christopher Lee, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
I thought I'd be sadder to lose the Old Indy bookends, but I adjusted quickly enough because I went in knowing they weren't there. Though I'm VERY glad they kept in the Harrison Ford bookends in one of my favorite episodes, The Mystery of the Blues. The only really tragic moment was the my second-to-last DVD didn't play! There seems to be something wrong with it. So I had to find the episode online (thankfully, someone uploaded episodes to YouTube) to watch it. Disappointing, as it's a hilarious episode and the special feature about The Algonquin Round Table would have been really interesting to watch (maybe someone's uploaded it somewhere as well. I'll have to do some investigating).
