60. Participate in a game at Brickfair
This is my 10th time attending Brickfair as an exhibitor, and before this I've never signed up for a game. I don't know why, just some weird nervousness/anxiety about doing a thing I've never done before. So I put this on my list to help me get over that.
I signed up for three games this time and the first one was today: Dirty Buildster. Everyone gets a different bunch of random bricks and you try to make a thing out of them. Then we vote and the winner gets a small set. I dumped my cup out and looked through the pieces, immeidately spotting a Hogwarts crest tile! There was also a wand, a Marauser's Map tile, a small frog, and a TON of transparent rubies and cones. So I immediately set to work building a small Room of Requirement. I must have made two dozen potions bottles. The room also had a lost remote control, a goblet, a flag, and a torch. Once I realized there was no way I could win, I just had FUN building.
I'm definitely glad I did it!
