I absolutely loved this series and would love to see it go on and on! It's sort of a reimagining of Anne's adventures with modern day issues and lenses but still set in the past. They deal with issues like the importance of consent in relationships, PTSD, racism, same-sex relationships, class inequality, and a lot more. The Canadian Indian residential schools was also a powerful subplot I was glad to see addressed.
